Synopsis

As a Report, the Uptake and Mutual Recognition of MOOCs in South Africa has the purpose of contributing information relevant to the development of policy to promote the uptake and mutual recognition of MOOCs in South Africa. Volume I presents research findings from data collected from a carefully selected, diverse group of researchers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and community leaders and educators who have first-hand experience of using or creating online courses (with an emphasis on MOOCs). Volumes 2 and 3 round off the research process, and are included in the same publication.
